This dry, un-oaked Pinot Gris is pale straw in color with aromas of Anjou pear, apple skin, citrus and mineral with notes of floral and spice. The palate is very fresh, with a blend of pear, apple and rounding out with a lemon/mineral citrus finish. Pinot Gris is also known as Pinot Grigio (in Italy) - it’s the same grape, but the difference is the style of wine making.
Serve at: 8 – 10⁰ C

Growing Conditions

100% of the grapes used for making the 2015 Pinot Gris came from our Reece, Boucherie and Smith Creek Road vineyards. It is 94% Pinot Gris and 6% Gewurztraminer. The vines were self-rooted and planted from 1992 to 2010. Pinot Gris is a white variant-clone of the red grape Pinot Noir and normally has greyish-blue fruit. We currently have 65 acres of vineyards in West Kelowna, all within 10 kilometers of our winery.
