Sourced from select Niagara Peninsula vineyards. Viticultural practices included vertical shoot positioning, shoot thinning, cluster thinning, hand leaf removal and hand harvest.
The Grower’s Rosé is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and Gamay. To impart structure and colour, it was made using a process called “saignée” though which we combine the free-run juice of select single-vineyard red grapes before they are pressed. Our driest Rose yet, this wine is very fruit forward with sour cherry and fresh strawberries prominent on the nose accompanied by subtle spice notes. A treat on the palate with prominent fresh red fruit and well-balanced acidity.
Rose is always the easiest and most versatile wine to pair with. An appetizer of figs wrapped in prosciutto with goat cheese would be the perfect match as would Korean BBQ chicken or a watermelon salad with arugula and feta.
