North block of the Limestone Ridge Estate vineyard, our newest estate vineyard located atop the Twenty-Mile Bench.16-year old vines farmed organically and biodynamically. Viticultural practices included vertical shoot positioning, shoot thinning, cluster thinning, hand leaf removal and hand harvest. The summer of 2015 was cooler than usual which resulted in a low yield but very high quality crop, with beautifully concentrated flavours.
Crafted from hand-harvested grapes, it displays ripe aromas of green apple, pear and hints of sweet lime. Green apple notes carry through to the palate accompanied by a round mouthfeel and a lively finish.
This is a wine that is destined to be paired with rich fare such as roasted pork belly served with homemade applesauce or chicken piccata with a lemon wine sauce. It would also be fantastic served with a fresh and lively dish such as shrimp and avocado ceviche.
