The second vintage of our Redstone Viognier was barrel fermented and aged 10 months in older French oak barrels. The result is a wine fragrant with aromas of white flower, stone fruit and toastiness. This Viognier is crisp at the start with good mid-weight palate with a balanced and smooth finish. The well-integrated oak marries perfectly with the flavours of dried apricot and sweet clementine.
The 2015 Viognier is an absolute dream to food pair with as there are many dishes that this wine will enhance. Try it with sole almandine, cedar plank salmon with goat cheese, traditional roast chicken, or perogies with bacon and caramelized onions.
