Look not for sheer butt-kicking audacity; rather a lean and clean chassis with a soft perfumed nose that floats tart raspberry, strawberry, red currant, cherry, plum, cranberry components.
With very laid back oak treatment (10 per cent new oak), the recurring berry fruit flavours are garnished with faint floral notes, orange peel and cocoa powder upon aeration in the glass while the acidity provides definition to the textured finish.
