A blend of 88% Gamay Noir and 12% Chardonnay. The Gamay Noir grapes used for making the 2011 Magma Rosé are from self-rooted vines, coming off our Scharf Road West vineyards which were originally planted in 1990, with additional plantings in 1992. The Chardonnay vines are also self-rooted and come from our Scharf Road East vineyards, originally planted in 1990.
Rosés are very versatile with food and make for excellent brunch and lunch wines. Try it with your favourite picnic faire, eggs benedict, strawberry and brie salad, smoked salmon, goat cheeses, grilled sandwiches or fresh Okanagan fruit salad.
