Rich soft tannins balance this wine, resulting in a symphony of flavours; reminiscent of a port, but with more initial fruit flavour. Food Pairing: Accompanying chocolate, nuts and cheese or as a dessert on its own.
During pressing all the sugars, acids, and avour components slowly drip out while leaving the water as ice in the press. A natural concentration results, with no altering of the delicate fruit avours.
Grapes for this wine were picked at -10 degrees Celsius; cold enough to freeze the berries solid.
Luscious cherry and blackberry aromas with rich, soft tannins reminiscent of a port.
