From the Redfoot Vineyard. Conventional viticultural practices and hand-harvest.
This is our first vintage of Unoaked Chardonnay produced from the Redfoot Vineyard. Tank fermented and aged on lees to yield the truest expression of fruit as well as to enrich the mouthfeel, this wine is incredibly well balanced with natural acidity and good body. Notes of ripe cantaloupe, papaya and chalky minerality are displayed on the nose. There is good weight on the palate which is slightly tart with notes of key lime and stony minerality.
Recommended pairings for this delightful food friendly wine are pizza with pear and prosciutto, grilled tilapia with lime cream sauce or aged cheddar and green apple grilled cheese. Of course a wine as delightful as this is great all on its own.
