A blend of chardonnay sourced from the certified organic and biodynamic Robyn’s Block, David’s Block and Hillside estate vineyards. Viticultural practices included vertical shoot positioning, shoot thinning, cluster thinning, hand leaf removal and hand harvest. The hot summer of 2012 produced a wine with well-rounded body and soft acidity.
This is an aromatic chardonnay with oak spice, ripe tropical fruits, melon and white flower prevalent on the nose. These intense aromas are followed by flavours of honey dew melon, royal gala apple and apple pie spice.
The smooth acidity and tropical fruit notes of this wine makes it the perfect match for spicy fare such as tandoori chicken or tofu curry. Try it with Hawaiian pizza with pineapple for something different!
