About the winery
In 1993 a small vineyard was pioneered to prove that the “terroir” was ideal for growing well balanced quality wine grapes, thus starting Prince Edward County’s Wine Industry. Waupoos Estates Grand Opening June 15th, 2001, was featured on CBC news coast to coast. Full steam ahead with the 13th anniversary this year, the winery features wines for all tastes, from crisp dry and semi dry whites to fuller bodied lightly oaked reds, leading to the famous Baco Noir.
