Old World traditions from the Portuguese archipelago of Madeira Island. New World craftsmanship and quality from Niagara-on-the-Lake. These were the groundwork that influenced the De Mouras when founding The De Moura Winery Way.Everything from growing grapes to bottling wine takes place on our 10 acre vineyard and winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This way, we ensure that meticulous care is given to the production of our fine wines at every step of the wine making process. From planting new vines in the spring to harvesting from mature grapevines in fall by hand, to processing and racking of wine in real Canadian, French and American Oak barrels in our barn – we make sure that the wine that reaches your bottle is the most flavourful, highest quality wine you’ve ever experienced.
