About the winery

SouthEnd Farm Winery was founded one night at university while we sat around and drank a bottle of “meh” wine. For some reason we decided that we could do better than that and a winery was what we wanted to do once we retired. As fate would have it, we jumped into our retirement dream about 30 years sooner than we had planned. So with no prior schooling or experience (and a lot of naive faith), our opening in 2009 was the culmination of 7 years of work on the farm by our families, friends and ourselves. We are grateful for all the work that everyone has put into making our vision a reality.
