About the winery

A short drive from Ottawa, Smokie Ridge Vineyard is a local family owned and operated winery specializing in northern varietal grapes. We were established in 2007 and have raised over 10,000 vines from infancy within 40 miles of one of the world's coldest capital cities. These hearty "Cold World" varietals include Frontenac, Sabrevois, Louise Swenson, St. Pepin and Marquette and can be tasted in our 2010 to 2014 and soon to be launched 2015 vintages.

Tour

We are open weekends and holidays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm tours of the vineyard and winery are free. We ask groups to book in advance so we may better serve them

We do wine tastings in our Boutique along with our tours. We will also organise wine paring in our wine cellar for groups of up to 20.

Smokie Ridge Vineyard has its own Executive Chef, Chef Phil Morneault and Somalier Maitre Guy Lauziere working with our partner establishments we can offer our Guests food pairing with our wines in the atmosphere of our wine cellar.
