About the winery

Founded in the early 1980s with the original name ‘Stoney Slopes’, the vineyard was purchased by Stephen P. Carter in 2012. Discovering a nesting family of hawks, they became the vineyard’s namesake. The vineyard is home to the BC Wine Studio and The Hollow Event Centre and Amphitheater.
