The Pedneault family’s first apple trees were planted in 1918 on this island in the St. Lawrence estuary. They produce more than 20 different ciders, including many flavoured with other fruits grown on the island, such as prunes, pears, cherries and saskatoon berries, products from the latter being particularly solid. The cidery also boasts an Economuseum that shows the processes of cidermaking.
