About the winery

Robert Demoy, originally from Brittany, is a certified oenologist from the University of Bordeaux. He has spent more than 25 years in the trade, first in France and then in Québec, where he produces some of the province’s best ciders. After the short-lived industrial cider boom in the 1970s, Cidrerie du Minot was the first to obtain an artisanal cidery licence in 1988 and has been a driving force for quality cider ever since.
