Sourced from select Niagara Peninsula vineyards. Viticultural practices included vertical shoot thinning, cluster thinning, hand leaf removal and hand harvest.
The 2013 Tawse Chardonnay is a blend from carefully sourced hand-harvested fruit from select vineyards of the Niagara Peninsula. As such, this balanced wine is a wonderful expression of both terroir and vintage as well as a great value! Perfectly balanced, it is a very versatile and food-friendly wine. Aromas of tropical fruit, cantaloupe, citrus and a hint of oak spice are expressive on the nose and continue through to the palate.
This food friendly Chardonnay will pair perfectly with salads, cheese, fish and chicken dishes. Try it with brown butter gnocchi, goat cheese stuffed chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto or grilled swordfish.
